The University of York invites applications for PhD research in areas across Music, Science and Technology at the Department of Music. A number of fully-funded studentships are available for outstanding candidates.

Students may propose topics under any of these areas. For 2018 there are up to seven scholarships available. The scholarship covers the UK/EU tuition fees and, for eligible students, a maintenance grant (£14,296 in 2016/17).
