The concert experiment will take place on Saturday, 18th March 2017 from 2pm to 5pm in the Music Research Centre, University of York. The experiment will start with a lecture which will be followed filling in forms, attaching sensors and listening to instructions. The concert will then start approximately one hour later.

All together, will take about 3 hours, and involves listening to several pieces, while rating their emotional effects on you as a listener. Additionally, we will measure various psychophysiological indicators of emotion using biosensors.

You will be compensated £10 upon completion. No risks are associated with this research. Your confidentiality and anonymity for serving in this experiment will be protected at all times.

If you have any more questions, please contact Mimi O’Neill (YMPG assistant) at kon502@york.ac.uk

Kind regards,
Dr. Hauke Egermann, Director YMPG
